Everyone knows about Lake of the Ozarks and that is has been one of the top 10 party lakes in the US for ever. However its the smaller lakes with alot fewer bars and clubs that can sometimes be more fun. reasons why:

Table rock, grand lake, Lake norman etc... Less bars means Alot more boating and rafting off to others.

calmer water.
water patrol are not as strict,
If your into nature while bonging beer Smaller lakes offer more trees less condos

I could go on and on .
what Im trying to say is if you can't afford or just dont want to drive to lake of the ozarks, tahoe meade and travis . try Grand Lake. The bikinis are still small the drinks are still stiff and the water is still wet.

If you want endless go fast boats and bars and clubs then head to lake of the o. Either way and no matter what lake you are on...remember ..... It's a Life Style and yes "LIFE IS GOOD"

I totally dig the smaller, friendlier places. One of my favorite lakes to kayak is just a branch off of shell lake. It's so serene and relaxing...

I've heard they are all great lakes....for many reasons including partying...but I KNOW Grand Lake is just awesome!!

You got Party Cove, Dripping Springs, Woodward Hollow (Wooderd Hollow as the locals say), Duck Creek, back coves on Horse Creek-Drowning Creek-Elk River-Honey Creek-Spring River, the three islands in Bernice area, Monkey Island, and so many bars its crazy!!! And that still ain't all that could be listed as great party places...All summer long, just about any night you can find a party!!

This lake just ROCKS!! And Grand Lake Gone Wild is gonna make it ROCK even more!! I can see it happening . . . .
